Is car window tinting legal in Spain?

Rear side and rear windows can be tinted to any darkness. Front side windows and the windscreen must let at least 70% of the light through. Our AirBlue 80 film is fully ITV-compliant and legal for front windows.

How long does the tint install take?

A full car including rears and back window takes around 2 to 3 hours. We install on your driveway anywhere across the Costa Blanca.

How long is the warranty?

Depending on the tier we fit, the ceramic film is warranted for 7, 10 or 12 years against colour change, bubbling and adhesive failure.

Do you tint the front windscreen?

Yes — with our ITV-compliant AirBlue 80 film only. Any darker film on the front windscreen or front side windows is illegal in Spain.

What is a window dechrome?

It's a gloss or matte black vinyl wrap applied over the chrome trim around your windows, giving a fully blacked-out look without removing the trim.

How long does a full tint job take?

A standard four-window install takes around 2–3 hours. A full car with rear screen and dechrome takes a full afternoon.

Is tinting legal in Spain?

Rear side and back windows can be fitted with any VLT. The front sides and windscreen must remain compliant — we fit AirBlue 80, an ITV-approved 80% VLT film that still rejects heat and UV.

When can I wind the windows down after?

Wait 5–7 days before rolling the windows down while the film fully cures. You may see a slight water haze in that time — completely normal and disappears as the film dries.

How do I clean tinted windows?

Use a soft microfibre and any ammonia-free glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive cloths, harsh cleaners and sharp objects near the film edges.

What's covered by the warranty?

Fade, bubbling, peeling and adhesive failure are all covered under our 7 / 10 / 12 year warranties depending on tier. Physical damage or misuse is not covered.
